Canberra Celebrates Its Centenary

Throughout the year the APA holds a number of population-related events. In March an event was held in Canberra to celebrate its centenary. Presenters included Dr Alison Taylor (ACT Demographer and Current President of the APA) and Denise Carlton (ACT Regional Director ABS). Audio and slides from the event can be found on the Events tab.
Membership Types
Types of Membership
The Australian Population Association welcomes applications for membership from any person with an interest in population issues. Three types of membership are available:
Ordinary membership
Student membership is open to full-time students at recognised educational institutions.
Concessional membership is open to people, other than those qualifying for student membership, who are not currently in full-time paid employment.

Overseas residents add $20 for additional postage costs and GST is not applicable.
